Missing Glitch ("we," "us," "our") builds games and apps published under the domain missingglitch.com. This Privacy Policy explains what information our apps collect, how it's used, and who we share it with.
This is a shared policy that covers all Missing Glitch games — currently Blend, and any games we release in the future. Where a game has practices specific to it, we describe them in that game's own section below.
Our games are generally designed to work without accounts or logins. Where a game needs to remember something — like your settings, preferences, or in-progress game state — that information is stored locally on your device. It isn't sent to us unless a specific feature says otherwise (see below).
Blend includes an optional feature called Submit a Pair, which lets you suggest new word pairs for the game. If you use this feature, you may submit:
word1word2categorydifficultyIf you enter a name or credit text, that's treated as personal information, since it may identify you. Everything else in a submission is just gameplay content.
Submissions are sent to our backend service and may be stored for review before any pair is considered for use in the game.
When your device communicates with our backend (for example, to submit a pair), our infrastructure providers may process standard technical/request metadata — such as IP address — as part of normal operation. This is used for security, anti-abuse protection, and keeping the service running reliably, not for building advertising profiles.
Blend's "Submit a Pair" feature is powered by the following third-party service providers:
| Provider | Purpose |
|---|---|
| Cloudflare | Receives, processes, and stores submissions; also protects the service from spam and abuse |
| Cloudflare Turnstile | Anti-bot / anti-abuse check before a submission is accepted |
| Resend | Sends us internal digest emails summarizing new submissions |
These providers process data on our behalf as part of delivering the Submit a Pair feature. We don't sell submitted data, and it isn't used to build advertising profiles.
As of the effective date above, we do not have evidence that our games include advertising SDKs, analytics/tracking services, or account-based tracking. Blend has no user accounts, login system, in-app chat, or public social feed.
If this changes in a future update — for example, if we add analytics or ads to help support the studio — we'll update this policy to reflect it. We'd encourage checking back periodically, especially after major app updates.
Submitted pairs (and any associated optional credit/name) are retained for as long as reasonably needed to review and moderate them. If you'd like a submission removed or want to know what we have on file, contact us using the details below.
Missing Glitch games, including Blend, are designed for a general audience and are not directed at or targeted toward children. We don't knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has submitted personal information to us, contact us and we'll remove it.
This policy is written to cover games we release after Blend, too. As new games launch, we'll add a dedicated section here (like Section 2 above) describing anything specific to that game's data practices. If a future game introduces something materially different — accounts, ads, multiplayer chat, etc. — we'll update this policy accordingly before or at launch.
Since most of our data footprint is either local to your device or a voluntary submission, your main controls are:
We may update this policy as our games evolve. Material changes will be reflected by updating the effective date above.
